Hi,

Does anyone know how can I plot the equivalent plastic strain (PEEQ) versus the Young’s Modulus in a plane stress problem? I can get PEEQ in post processing, but I do not know how to measure E. in the analysis E is not constant and is dependent to PEEQ.

Cheers,
A

The only way I can think of to get E is to create data sets for stress and strain and then a third data set that is stress/strain. You would then use this third data set in your plot.

HTH,
Dan

As I mentioned, the problem is a nonlinear plastic deformation problem and I can not used Stress/Strain to get E.

Sorry, it was my fault. Yes, to obtain E I can use Hooke's law. I confused this problem with another problem in plasticity.
