Hello everybody,
I kindly request your help regarding some NASTRAN here...
Do somebody knows if there is a way of displaying the coefficients of the internal MPCs of an NASTRAN RBE3?
I was assigned to research how to replicate an analysis procedure in ANSYS from the NASTRAN procedure these guys have here.
In the process I was forced to investigate how the RBE3 works. Fortunately, I found a document which includes as an appendix the MSC Technical Note: "Mathematical Specification of the Modern RBE3 Element" which I included in the attachments. (page 159). In this document, it is included the process to calculate the coefficients of the MPCs that NASTRAN use to build the RBE3.
I want to understand the proceduce described here, and I want to compare my script based on this document against a real RBE3.
I've seen that DMAP can be used as:
ALTER 102$
TRNSP GM/GMT $
MATGPR GPL,USET,SIL,CMT//MIN $
Unfortunately I don't know what this all codes mean
I have MSC Nastran 2007.
Thank you for your help.
