I want to make a one way slab that is cantilevered off of a beam how should I attempt to do this?

Consider one of the following options ,

- Model the slab with FEM shell elements supported by FEM beam line elements,
- Calculate cantilever moment and apply to the supporting beam torsion effect and wt of the slab UDL.,

A sketch would help to get better responds.

He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock..

SAP2000 doesn't really do one-way slabs with flexural stiffness as far as I know. You can try playing with stiffness modifiers, but it won't get you to true one-way action. Cantilever a two-way slab and you can check the one-way reinforcement by hand. Or split it up into a bunch of cantilevered line elements.
