I read the help in ANSYS/LY-DYNA, and found that non-reflecting BC can only be applied to 3D Solid164 element. Does anyone konw how to define @D non-reflecting BC in LS-DYNA? I am modeling a elastic half space using axisymmetric element plane162. Thanks!

hello there!

The 2-D non-reflecting boundaries are not supported in the ansys/ls-dyna module, but only in the standalone lsdyna program. this means that you have to modify the input file (*.k) resulting from the ansys pre-processor. refer to the lsdyna manual for more details!
