Hi guys, I'm having problems with the introduction of a electrical load type of surface current. I want to recreate the arc channel of a lightning strike over a composite plate. The arc has a 10mm diameter, and the magnitude of the lightning strike is 40kA with a certain amplitude.
The procedure I follow to introduce this surface current is to divide the current intensity (40kA) and the arc area (pi*R^2), resulting in a current density (A/m^2). The analysis stopped at the 7th increment time, and I dont know which is the main problem. I work in SI units system and I've checked the material properties too.

Is correct to introduce the surface current load like me?

Thanbk you guys.
