Wondering if someone here can suggest the proper way to install the top unit of a stacking. As of now, with the top exchanger plumb, only one of the interconnecting nozzles connect properly with 1/8" gap for gasket insertion. The other tubeside interconnecting Nozzle flanges read 0.32" @0°, 0.27" @90°, 0.29" @180°, 0.3" @270° clearances. Is there a way to rectify this. Machining the flange or cutting and rewelding is not an option (at the moment
)I am tempted to open the channel bonnet and let it drop to use the slack in bolt holes and use a thicker gasket to make up for excessive gap. Any suggestions? Thanks
