I have a shock response spectrum where at 100 Hz it is 6 G and at 1000 Hz it is 240 G. A specification says that the unit should be tested at this SRS at +3dB. Am I correct in saying that this means to increase the SRS by a factor of 2 (so 12 G at 100 Hz and 480 G at 1000 Hz) and if it was 6dB it would be a factor of 4?

I found my answer. I thought I was missing something.
