How to identify the model features in STEP file?

Hi Guys,

I have one doubt,
In Step files, how can we identify the what are all features they used to create the model...?

I hope someone could help!!!

I doubt you can do it. STEP is simple TXT stored file format. Geometry information - yes. Topology, features, model tree structure - no.
 
You can't. One of the benefits of neutral geometry file formats like STEP and IGES are to prevent reverse engineering and protect intellectual property (to a certain degree).
