I have to find the surface fatigue for the wire (cable).

anybody have any idea?

I looked into books worked out a bit, but quite confused about further proceedings

any suggestions ???????

If stranded cable is being discussed I think of elevator and hoist cable. My very limited experience says surface fatigue due to contact is not an issue. Bending fatigue from too small sheaves might result in broken wires, and especially internal and external wear, corrosion, from lack of lube, and physical damage limit the cable's useful life.
