How to find MAWP of heat exchanger ?

Is it based on the formula (what formula?) or based on the simulation (maybe the greatest stress ?) or is it based maximum allowable stress of the material (S) ?

Depending on where you are in the world there is for most countries (dont know any exceptions) thoroughly and very detailed rules on how pressurized constructions (any kind of vessel) should be fabricated and tested/certified for the given use. Check locally.

Well basically all those things which are included with a pressure vessel design code.

This is a very general question though - It's like saying how do I find the MAWP / design pressure of a pipe?

If you have a national Board number then contact them for a copy of the manufacturer's data sheet. It will cost you a bit.
