Hi,

Is it possible to enter fractions at the line prompt ?

like 2 1/2 ??

Appreciate feedback on this ...

Ian

If you want to draw a line, say 2 1/2 long at a 45 degree angle, from any starting point enter: @2-1/2<45

Or the diameter of a circle enter: 2-1/2.

You cannot use a space line 2 1/2 because the computer sees 21/2
You nee the - to seperate.

Thanks Ernie !

Jan

For regular SolidWorks dimensioning, using the + and - signs works well with fractional input.

Ex: 2.5 --> either 2+1/2 or 3-1/2
