How to design cover for 3rd party model

I have downloaded glock 17 modle from grabcad, which don't have any dimensions. I'm trying to design a cover for this model, but since i don't have any dimension of the model how do i design cover so that it exactly fits into the downloaded glock 17 model in assembly?
