How to design a fresh water piping manifold

The situations is as follows: There are five fresh water tanks. Two of which is providing 48m3/h and the remianing tanks are providing 35m3/hr. The discharge pipe for the tanks is 42mm ID. The existing manifold is 98mm ID. The existing manifold is divided into two halves: suction and discharge. The discharge half of the manifold is feeding a 5m3/h pump. <br><br>I was asked to fit a 22.7m3/h pump to the discharge half of the manifold. The question is should I re-size the manifold and how?

More information is needed. You need a careful and comprehensive look at the details. It would seem the existing manifold may be too small with this large increase in flow. I am curious about the details you have provided, I cannot conceptualize dividing such a small manifold into both suction and discharge.
