how to define the position dedepent materials?

Hi, guys,

I have a problem about how to define the position dedepent materials? My material property (yield stress) is a position dependent variable in the 3-D model? Could you please advise how to do that?

It pretty much depends on what program you are using. In general you will need to use sort of state/user/field variables defined at each material point which can be used to ensure your yield stress spatial dependecy.
