Dear Abaqus user,

I'd like to simulate pressure penetration feature on ABAQUS based on axisymmetric model.
I made a model consist of seal being compressed by top body and bottom body.
Contact pressure shall be generated after top body move down while bottom body fixed.
Once the seal set, then I'd like to simulate the pressure which come from inside (attached sketch).

Based on tutorial that I read for axisymmetric model, we need to identify first pair of points exposed to fluid pressure,
including:
a. Specify contact interaction
b. Pick region on master/slave
c. Apply critical contact pressure and fluid pressure

I always got message "disjoint surface" with 3 advices. Anyone can enlighten me how to solve this?
the contact pressure was generated at the taper surface right after top body move down.

Thank you

The message says it: Use two contact pairs or use one large slave surface.
Otherwise Abaqus can't figure out what region is initially exposed to the fluid on the other patch.
