How to create the opposite surface using Through Curve Mesh 1

I have tried for 2 days to find the answer to this problem (which looks very simple).

I am trying to create the opposite of this simple model. I have tried changing the direction of Primary Curves and Cross Curves but nothing is working.

Trim your primary curves so they are not complete circles.

Is there a way of doing it without cutting?

Use stop at intersection when selecting the primary curves or cross curves (see pic below).
The attached video shows how it works.
