this question is quite strange to me...


i guess you want to create a 3d model based on a detailed 2d drawing with all dimensions. if you use a common cad software like catia, solidworks, or proengineer to create the model, the finished model is parameter-driven. We use parameters(dimensions) to create the model, and surely we can modify it by changing those parameters. This is what we call Parametric Modeling
