How to convert multiple dxf to dwg

Hello guys, I was wondering if there is a way for Draftsight, via script to save multiple dxf files to dwg. A collegue of mine had to convert at some point 624 dxf to dwg and it was a nightmare. Hope you can help me. Is there another Free way to convert them?
