Hello All,

I need to clone a large assembly, multiple times. When I tried the "Save As" option, ProE opens a table format to edit the names of new parts. Do I have to use "Save As" , everytime I wish to clone the assmebly ?

Or

Is there any option in ProE for MULTI-CLONING the assembly along with all the parts, in ONE GO?

Thank you,

regards,
Jayanthi.

Hi im4cad,

I use Pro/Engineer 2000i2

Thanks,
Jayanthi

If you want to clone the assembly and all components of your assembly, then you have no choice and use "save as" command.

But if you want to clone only your assembly (sharing the same components) then you can do it in explorer or in DOS window.
