As the maximum bending angle is calculated for externally and internally coated pipeline API 5L X42 sch std,SMls, the manufacturer gave me the impact and flexibility tests of the pipe at -3 degrees C, indicating that I can bend 1.5 degrees / D
I appreciate your help

What help do you need?

Normally the maximum strain that the pipe and the coating can withstand is 2%, bit 1.5 degrees per diameter sounds relatively normal to me.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

juancd200914,
I would think the Type of coating would be a factor.
Rubber Coating would be far more flexible than the pipe.
Glass Coating would be far less flexible than the pipe.
All other coatings would fall somewhere in between these two, check with your Coating distributor.

Sometimes its possible to do all the right things and still get bad results
