I want monitor the change of impedance for a coil.the exciting signal is harmonic voltage.how can I get the value of resistor and inductance of coil by the harmonic current and voltage.could you please tell me the detail operation with LABVIEW fuction modul? thanks.

kufe2001- you asked two questions: THe first one I can answer partly but not the second, I don'r have experience with LabView. The first question relating harmonic impedance: You can run simply tests, a dc step test on a coil and determine it's dc resistance. Using that as a base, you can work out the ac resistances, using a formula. THese kind of formulas can be found from theory on cables and transmission lines. I hope that will shed some light.
