Hi, now currently i have a 10meter 6" belt conveyor, there will be 100kg tin need to transfer from A point to B point, the speend of the gear motor is 54rpm but i do not know how to calculate the power of the motor may i know is there any one who can help me out?

Do you currently have a motor and you are trying to measure its power or you looking to calculate the motor power required for this application?

A good estimation is:

Total load on belt(pounds) x friction factor x belt speed (in feet per minute)/33000

= HP
