Hi dear friends, I have a formula in Kern book for shell delta p in heat exchangers with single segment baffles. But I did not found anything for" calculation of shell delta P with disc and doughnut baffles". Thanks

Nass,

By "Kern Book", do you mean the ancient, yet venerable classic 1950's text or are you referring to a more a recent 1989 stolen-edition ?

Every time an engineering text is stolen, it means less motivation and financial reward for those that write these books...

You will find the calculation of shellside pressure drop in the second edition as well as other literary and research sources
