I am trying to figure out the maximum daily output for our 12" sewage piping to our wastewater basin. In order to calculate the maximum flow rate, what data do we need to include in our formula or what formula to use?

Thank you in advance for your help and contribution!

You would first need to know what is putting flow into it.

Is it industrial?

Is it residential?

Is it institutional?

When you know that, then it is easier to determine.

Do you know how to use Manning Equation. How to calculate the wetted perimeter, it says is the cross sectional area between the water and the culvert. u=.014 for max flow, but most material I see use u=.013. This is a military base, so it is mostly for sewage system from building and residential. Thank you.
