Hello
Does anyone know how to round an indenter tip (Berkovic for example) in Abaqus? I want just the tip get blunted with a radius of 200nm. Using fillet, rounds all the edges of the pyramid connected at the tip which I don't like.

Thanks

Cut the tip away with a rotated sketch.

I've just told you how to do it. Create a datum plane, define a cut by revolution and then sketch the cut geometry on the datum plane.

if you're not familiar with the abaqus sketch/part modules you can create the geometry elsewhere (CAD package) and import it.
