Hello.

I need to make a 3D array of objects, in this case ball bearings, and mate them all together. I would like to automate the assembly so I can change the dimensions of the assembly, i.e., the number of ball bearings, in x,y, and z without a bunch of copy and paste. The challenge Im facing is how to do this and keep everything mated together.

The end product should look like this. With mates at all points of contact.

Why not just use a pattern for the floor and then pattern that for the height?

Yeah, seems like a standard linear pattern. Although you won't have physical mates at each point, they should be locked in place by the pattern parameters.

EDIT: See attached. Done using simple linear component pattern.
