I am modeling a community detention basin and would like to add a known Q to my new model. The discharge releases from a existing pond directly into a channel that runs a few thousand feet to my new proposed basin. The channel or where the pond discharges is the beginning of my Tc path. What would be the easiest way to incorporate the existing pond discharge into my new model?

Thanks

You can enter a fixed flow, or a complete hydrograph, using a link node.

Although it may be tempting to enter a fixed (peak) flow, this will will often overstate the overall volume in comparison to using a complete hydrograph.

If you're only being given the peak flow, I would ask for further details, or consider modeling the off-site contribution yourself in order to get a complete hydrograph.
