How do you window select importedcurveX?

Lately I have been importing a lot of 3d wireframe IGS to convert them to a solids. When I try to use the "Sketch->Convert" command on the "importedcurves" I have to select every single entity directly. How can I change it so that I can select them by a window?

If when you import the file in and it comes in as one Imported curve, then there is nothing you can do, but if they was to come in as separate curves (which is the only I way I have seen them) Then you can select them separately.

Maybe the problem is in the other application you are using, or if you are using SW for this, then the question is how are they before you export... single or separate enitities?

When I import the wireframe IGS files depending on the part there can be hundreds of separate ImportedCurve1 - ImportedCurve892 (for instance) in the design tree.

When I am selecting entities to convert to sketches I can select individually ImportedCurve187 or I can select it in the graphic section but I cannot select many entities at once by a selection window. In some cases using the window would save hours over individually selecting things.

Can you not Shift select in the FM to make multiple picks?

For example, if I need to pick a group of 516 circles I would need to select each one versus simply drawing a select box around the group.

Rather than doing a shift select of importedcurve1 - importedcurve516 the circles that I want might be(and probably will be)in the tree:

importedcurve3
importedcurve78
importedcurve193
importedcurve624
importedcurve1133
... etc

So shift select wouldnt be very helpful. I also have no idea what importedcurve2171 is until I select it and see what entity highlights.
