How do you submit an idea for a product that I want, and others might be interested 1

I have an idea for a product I want, and maybe other want but don't know it, but I am not very interested in making any money from it.

Yea I could make it, but the things I make just don't look as nice as the ones in the store.

Seems to me you could blog on the subject, or find some forums appropriate for the audience you're looking for.

If you don't want to make any money from it, then tell us your idea. What you will probably find is that something similar is already available, and that it costs more than you want to pay for it.

Get a patent and then shop it to a local mfg.

If you don't ant to make any money from it, why are patents even being discussed? Post it in an open forum... if someone sees a use in it and has the capability to make it, they will.
