I have Part1 from which I made DWG1. I have Part2 from which I made DWG2. I decided I actually want DWG2 to be on Sheet 2 of DWG1 instead of its own separate drawing file. How do I do this?
I did the whole export-->part things. It exports the different views, but none of the dimensions carry over. I have to redimension. Any other way of going about this besides just inserting Sheet 2 and starting from scratch? Could save me a lot of time

copy and paste the drawing in your tree

Thank you jerry, but I tried this and it did not work. I did this by right clicking on Sheet 1 on DWG2 and clicked Copy. Inserted a new sheet into DWG1, right clicked and clicked Paste. Unless you meant a different way it does not work.

Oh, this puts it in the same drawing file. I want to insert it into a different file's tree. Does that make sense? Maybe I should post some screenshots for my forum?
Thank you for trying though

I think I know what you are talking about.

There are times where we need to put a suppliers drawing on our form,
so we make a jpeg of the suppliers drawing and paste it into our form.

Oh, hmm, that is a way around it. Not sure if I can use that for our documentation, but I'll keep it in mind. It's weird that there isn't a commend to be able to do that though

you can probably cut and paste a .dwg file into NX too
