How do I create a macro via Excel

Hello;

I am fairly new to Solidedge, and I want to write some programs or macros for our draft environment. How do I create a visual basic executable via the VBasic environment in Excel. A step by step example would be very helpful for osome small program. I have tried using the programing help, I have yet to be able to get something, anything to work. My main goal is to get some macros that will read data from multiple files to populate a draft textbox.
