Hi, I'm new to Catia trying to move from Solidworks, todays problem was how to create the slight chamfer that you get on the ends of a nut, these are not on the flats but on the corners, easy in solidworks, with a cut command and changing the angle, but no-one I have spoken to knows an easy way in Cativa R5v17, any suggestion very welcome.
Regard Richard.

one method is to use a GROOVE to rotate the chamfer

1. pad a cylinder
2. chamfer the edge
3. using a hexagon sketch, pocket it but click the reverse side feature so everything outside of the hexagon sketch is removed.
