How can I setup the CM900 to modicon 984? 1

I have a problem,

I've been trying to configure the card CM900 to PLC modicon Compact 984, I don't understand the way I can download the file DL.DAT toward the PLC.

Could somebody tell me how to do it?

**** CM900 Program Diskette ****
Standard Program Version
1.0E

This Diskette contains several files related to the CM900.
Included is the Standard Program, terminal-emulation/utility
program, and the CM900 personality. Following is a list of the
files on this diskette with a brief description of each one.
Please refer to the CM900 Operator's Manual and the SP1011 Software
Manual for additional information on the use of these files.

CM900ST.HEX - Compiled Standard Program
DL.DAT - CM900 personality, Needs to be loaded on the Host PLC,
does not appear in PLC logic
EC.EXE - terminal-emulation/utility program for downloading compiled software


*** Instructions for updating the CM900 Standard Program

1. Type EC[cr]
2. Press [ctrl][A] to enter download mode on the CM900
3. It will prompt with:
CM900 Compact 984 Interface Module V1.0A
(c) Datalogic 1993, All rights reserved

Press [CTRL][D] to enter monitor... hit
4. Press [ctrl][D] to enter download mode
5. Press [cr]. The CM900 should respond with a hyphen '-'.
6. Press [PgDn] to download new program
7. It will prompt with *.hex, asking for proper extention
to download - this is correct press [enter]
8. It will then transfer the prompt to the lower section of
the screen and request that you hi-light the file to download
and press [enter]
9. EC will initialize the port and the proceed to download
the program. (address will appear on the screen while it is
downloading)
10. When the CM900 is done downloading it will then attempt to
enter run mode.
11. If running the standard Datalogic program it will prompt:
CM900 Standard Program verison xxx
This program requires the loadable FN01.DAT to reside
within the PLC for passing data between the PLC and CM900

Press [CTRL][D] withing two seconds to enable Debug mode...
Starting Program ...... Without Debug mode enabled
