How can I extract information for a sub-structure in Sap2000 in a modal analysis?

I have developed a simple Finite Elements Method application for windows. Among others, it performs modal analysis of sub-structures (let's say, 4 interconnected elements out of 20 elements in total). Is there any way to force Sap2000 to display results based on a pre-defined substructure so I can test my application?

Please let me know if my question is not clear.
