I have a compsite plate 400x400 mm and easch ply has 0.5 mm thickness. I would like to carred out linear static analysis. In each paper, every body apply different constraints and forces. I applied the force on the middle of the plate (1000 N) and constraints are two parallel edge of the plate. I donot know is it correct or not?

HOw can i define the forces and constraints on composite plate?

It depends which load case you want to analyze. There’s no single correct loading scenario. Choose the one that corresponds to the way this plate is supposed to work in real life (if you simulate an actual product) or the one that you find the most interesting (if it’s just a theoretical study).
