Do you mean range of base metal materials? If so, see 4.7.3 of D1.1
Table 4.8 refers you back to Table 3.1, you will find X52 in Group II. Now, refer back to Table 4.8 and you will see which Group(s) you are allowed to weld, depending on what your base metal combination of your PQR was.

Hi duongwe,
Base metal were classified as per the Group numbers in AWS.So the WPS qualified with the material API 5L Gr X52 can be welded with any material from the same group. As Mr DVWE said X52 come under group 2. for example it can be used for welding A36, EH 36 etc... Please refer table 3.1 for group numbers.
