While it is true that NX does not have a built-in function like the one you described there are a couple of things that you can do which will give you something close to what you're looking for with only a couple of extra entries.
That being said, there is an explicit View Rotate function which you can open by hitting
'Ctrl+R' and once there you can select either one of the three primary axis of rotation,
X-Axis,
Y-Axis or
Z-Axis, then simply hit the
'Apply' button and this will rotate the display exactly 90° about the selected axis. Repeated hitting of the
'Apply' button will continue to rotate the display.
Alternatively you can also simply select the
X,
Y or
Z axis of the view 'triad' located in the lower left-corner of the screen, enter ±90° into the entry widget and hit the
'Enter' key. Again, repetitive selection of
'Enter' will continue to rotate the display about the selected axis in 90° increments.
Anyway, give it a shot and see if this will work for you.
