I am looking for a hot melt adhesive for bonding polyurethane to electrolytic zinc-coated steel. Peel strength is a priority. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Syd,

Thanks for the tip, but I already send the same inquiry to Master Bond and was told that they didn't have anything that would work. Their representative suggested HB Fuller. I'm still waiting for a response from them.

We now have on data point.

Can you come back with the properties that your require?

Sticking anything to E Zinc can be a proverbial _________ while urethane can be troublesome, it can be accomplished.

There are some reactive urethane based hot melts out there that would work well with your urethane but the zinc remains a question. Come back with your requirements which might give someone a better direction in recommendations.

That's one for the books at Master Bond not saying they would work you up something. If it was epoxy they would have something very quickly.
