Hi all,

I want to create a hole table in sheet metal part. But when I select the coordinate system, the message say the coordinate system was incorrect. What does this mean?

I used the original default coordinate system & also tried to make a new one to do it, but with no success. Please help.

Regards,

The Z-axis of your co-ordinate system needs to be in the same direction as the axis of the holes.

Thanks John for your advice.

I did the z axis aligned to the hole axis already. A message said no holes were detected. My model in question has a multiple 90 deg. bend and hte holes are located in one of the bended surface. I tried to put the coordinate system on the same surface, but still no luck. Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

You need a drawing view flat onto the holes, and a co-ordinate system in that view with its z-axis normal to that view.

Thanks for your tips John. It worked now.
