Hello folks

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the default drill point angle in hole shape parameters?

Thanks

Yes in the shape Icon in the popup dash board under insert hole!

Thanks nbaptist, but that's not quite what I mean. I know I can change it on each creation, but what I would like to do is change what it defaults to, so that every hole is automatically defaulted to my choice. ProE default value is 118

118 and 135 are the standards. 118 for soft materials, 135 for harder. 130 is an oddball, at least to me.

I beleive that it is the *.hol files that contain the defaults.

Thanks dross

I'll have a look at that. Re: the drill points, that is my main area as a Production Engineer, I'm a total numpty on ProE, but learning.

Our main two materials that we machine hereare cast iron and aluminium, and the vast majority of the high performance drills we are using from the likes of Kennametal and Guhring are either 130
