Has anyone heard or know of a substitute for a HL63 hi-lok?? I have always used HL63 and never had a reason to research a substitute....I am not finding anything on the web.....I want to be sure before I give my final answer....

The Hi-Lok pin index which you can download from Hi-Shear's website indicates that that is the 1/64th oversize for HL19 or HL419. It also indicates that the next OS fastener is the HL219 and the next oS fastener after that is HL203. But I'm betting you already knew all that. There are a lot of choices in fasteners with 100° shear head alloy steel fasteners rated to 95 ksi.

Thanks guys...I ended up using a 1/64th oversized Hi-lock with a higher ksi. HL141

Wundakat...

1OS FSH HL Pins, HL63 [Stl] & HL141 [A286], for all intents and purposes have identical installations and strength [Psu/Psy & Tsu/Tsy].

Be extremely cautious when tempted to mix steel/cres/HRA fasteners [E= 28-to-31,000,000 stiffness] with aluminum or [E=~10,000,000 stiffness] or titaniun [E= 16,000,000] fasteners. Fasteners tend to pick-up load relative to installed interference [shank-to-hole fit] and material stiffness.

IF You need HS HL [or HLT, HST, HSL, HPL, HT... etc] data sheets go to:
There are lots of odd [specialty] HL Pins/collars specified, that are NOT directly downloadable on the site... however "ask and You shall recieve".
