High Temperature Seal

I have an application that requires a close seal (5 scfm of air @ 200 psi @ 935 degrees F). A metal to metal seal is working alright, but it is very expensive to make economically. Is there a material that is slightly pliable and heat-resitant that could be used for a seat in my valve.

You could try grafoil packing or, if its allowable in your jurisdiction for your application, asbestos.

Grafoil will oxidize and disappear over time if exposed to oxidizing environments above 850-900 °F.

Its a semi-flexible graphite usually sold as ribbon or thin sheeting which can be stacked and die cut as rings. Is also sold braided with 316 or inconel wire. Works reasonably well as packing because its self lubricating. The manufacturer's claim it can be used at temperatures upwards of 1200 F. Do a google search for examples.
