Does anybody have any opinions on a high-strength bushing material for PH stainless steel pins (e.g., Custom 465)?

We used to use Cu-2%Be at 180 ksi UTS, but the dislike of Be has meant we cannot now do so. Other Cu alloys tend to be rather low strength giving us bearing yield problems.

I've recently seen Carpenter announcing ACUBE 100, aimed pretty much at this sort of thing: . Does anyone have any experience of it?

I haven't used the material personally. I have no problems going with Carpenter's recommendation where they state this is good replacement for BeCu. I will temper this opinion somewhat due to the fact I have no idea of the end use with accompanying physical and environmental parameters required by the bushing.
