Dear all,

I have a high strain dynamic test to be done. I am checking the ASTM related to this test but I am not finding all the informations I am looking for.
I am searching for some help regarding :
1 - Drop height of the hummer.
2 - Number of times the hummer must hit the pile.

Many thanks

If you simply are looking for determining the support capacity of the piles, there are many accepted formulas, the first being the Engineering News Formula. I'd do a search for "Pile driving formula". If your specifications do not define which formula, the chances are the contractor likes to use a certain one and may have documentation to show precise it is.

There are attachments to the pile that give a great deal of dynamic information, but that is seldom done on routine jobs.
