Need material to act as a thermal buffer between contact plates and sensors. Contact plates on press can see 200C whereas the sensors can only handle 175C. This isolation material will be located between the contact plate and sensor. Platen are aluminum.

What type of sensor are you talking about?

A plate with cooling lines would thermally isolate your sensor. Without cooling any metal will conduct the heat as it a is property of all metals.

Define high stiffness.

How long will the 200C remain in contact?

To answer your questions:
1. Two sensors need to be isolated from the 200C, 4 load cells and 4 accels (both are manufactured by PCB and charge type). Both are able to withstand 175C.
2. The sensors will be permanently mounted on the plate. The plate could remain heated for 8 hours.
3. The material should have a Youngs Modulus of about 2x10^11 Pa. The material should have a stiffness of at least 1e10 Pa.
