Can anyone point me in the direction of a manufacturer of small diameter (ideally 6 micron), high silica content (>90%) glass fibre?

Thanks for the reply YM. Unfortunately, the application for which I am looking to use high silica fibres cannot possibly support the cost of quartz fibre. The fibres are to be used as a high temperature reinforcement for composites (hence the desired small diameter) so I would be more interested in leached E-glass fibres if anyone can direct me towards a suitable supplier.

Contact Saint-Gobain Quartz at mailto:quartz.sales@saint-gobain.com.

We manufacture Quartzel fiber for such applications.

(You can download the Quartzel catalogue from our website at )
