High Pressure Trip Downstream Vane Pack

I have a high pressure trip which is protecting a pressure vessel (gas scrubber upstream of compressor, handling wet hydrocarbon gas).

Is it acceptable to locate the scrubber's high pressure trip on the gas outlet downstream of the gas outlet device. The gas outlet device is a vane pack.
