Hiding part family members?

I have created a large number of part family members, released them and exported them to out various groups around the world. However, i have just been informed that I was given incorrect information and approximately 1500 of the created family members are not required with the suffix that I was given. Ideally I would like to delete these parts, but on a multi-site system like ours, this is very difficult, therefore I was wondering if there was a way of being able to "comment" out the parts or suppress them if you will so that people can't see them?

Sorted it, just delete the lines in the spreadsheet from the part family master and the will now appear any more.
