Hiding a Dimension Name 2

I've been racking my mind for hours now trying to figure out how to get rid of the "name" that comes up automatically under a dimension in a drawing. It looks somehting like this:

_____1.00
(RD18)

I need to get rid of that RD18 but I can't figure out how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Tools->Options, System Options tab, "General" category, third item from the top, clear the box that says "Show Dimension Names"
