Hide Cordinate systems 2

Hi.

Is there a way to hide this cordinate system?
It is on layer 1, so i cant just hide that layer.

Hi,
Press Ctrl+W. There you will be able to hide Coordinate systems, Datum Planes etc.

You will find the under Type=Geometry. Try to hide that type.

Take it out of your reference set if it is a part drawing. Is this a part drawing or an assembly drawing? What is owning the coordinate system?

yes here.

If i make a drawing of the imported part, i can hide the system with ctrl. W, but in my assembly there is not a cordinate system menu

What reference set is the part using in the assembly? Is it using the enitre part reference or a model reference set? Right click on the component in the assembly and set the reference set to model. Also check the reference set in your part to make sure they are set correctly. Format Reference sets.

Hi Mike,

Those are datums (a datum co-ordinate system), which is a feature in the part navigator.

The best thing to do would be to change the displayed reference set for your component (by right clicking in the assembly navigator) to SOLID, which should only contain solids. That way, the datum co-ordinate system is never brought from your component into the assembly.

Make sure you're talking about the Datum Coordinate System and NOT the WCS. The WCS can only be toggled ON/OFF using the 'Display WCS' icon.
